Stanzer Stories was founded by Matko Radić, a seasoned LARP (Live-Action Role-Playing) organizer and the president of the Zagreb By Night Association, with over ten years of experience in crafting and leading immersive live-action games. As Chief Storyteller and Game Designer, Matko has been at the forefront of producing LARPs that explore historical and fantastical themes. His expertise in blending narrative depth with experiential storytelling has led to the creation of a number of influential projects, including:
The Nights of the White Violet: Set in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade, this LARP explores the complex relationships among vampires in Zagreb, focusing on internal conflicts, power dynamics, and personal dilemmas.
The Primogen Council: Another Vampire: The Masquerade LARP, centered around political intrigue and the intense power struggles between ancient vampire factions.
Before taking lead, Matko spent five years as a Storyteller and Game Designer, during which he contributed to the rise of Zagreb’s Larp scene with projects such as Elegy for a Dead World, Carrion Call, and Toreador Ball. These projects remain cornerstones of the local LARP community.
As the president of the Zagreb By Night Association, Matko has been instrumental in expanding and promoting Larp as a cultural form in the city, seamlessly blending historical narrative with imaginative fiction to enrich Zagreb's cultural landscape.
In addition to his work with the association, Matko founded Stanzer Stories as a personal creative initiative. Through this platform, he focuses on developing thought-provoking narratives that challenge contemporary societal norms, blending political, personal, and artistic themes in ways that spark conversation and reflection.
